Fagor Industrial will be present at the 21st San Sebastián Gastronomika

Oñati, 6th October 2019. - Fagor Industrial, a leading manufacturer of equipment for the restaurant, collective catering and laundry sectors, will attend San Sebastián Gastronomika for the tenth year running, from 6 - 9th October.

Fagor Industrial will be one of the main sponsors of this culinary event, which is the most important in the region. In this sense, Fagor Industrial, the leading manufacturer in the Basque Country, has provided all the catering equipment needed for the different areas of the site. There are four areas in total: the Cooking With... room, the Big Cube and Small Cube stages and the internal preparation Office. The large Symphony kitchen and latest generation ovens stand out among the equipment designed for the four areas. These all make up the stage on which San Sebastián Gastronomika – Euskadi Basque Country 2019 will celebrate show cookings and presentations of interest, and where the latest creations will be prepared and served to attendees.

As well as providing the catering equipment for San Sebastián Gastronomika, Fagor Industrial has its own exhibition stand shared with the Basque Culinary Center, a foundation it has recently joined together with, forging a great alliance between two important brands of the sector in the region to promote the innovation and development of the industry.

For another year, the Basque Country is a meeting point for the best chefs in the world. This year, the main theme will be “The world of flavours Elkano travelled through 500 years ago on the first round-the-world trip”.

Last year’s event ended with over 13,000 attendees and 1,615 delegates. Over 200 speakers and 170 exhibitors. As for this year, forecasts indicate that this number could be even greater. Top Spanish chefs Dani García and, of course, Aitor Arregi, owner of Elkano restaurant, will also participate.

Traditional and modern foods from chefs and restaurants from different cultures and countries will be present: Chile, Indonesia, Brazil and the Canary Islands, among others. The restaurants Plaza Athénée (Paris) and Mere (London) will add an international feel to the theme.
